Unheard

This project was titled ‘Unheard’; in which I was tasked with creating a kinetic typography animation based on a quote from someone I view as a hero. I chose a quote from an interview that David Byrne conducted, with himself, by himself.

 

Prior to this project I had no experience with Adobe After Effects, however, I used my skills with hand-drawn type to create my own typeface that I could use within the app to make this animation. In analysis, it was a highly valuable experience for me as a graphic artist to explore kinetic type, as well as challenging myself creatively.
